Cone

Supplies: MIDORI handmade Gift Wrap
                A circular object such as a plate or a lid
                Pencil
                Scissors
                Double-sided tape or glue

1. Place circular object on MIDORI Handmade Gift Wrap and trace a circle in pencil. The size of the circle will determine the size of cone (radius = height of the cone).


2. Cut out circle traced in step 1.

3. Fold circle in half.


4. Open circle and cut along fold, creating two half-circles.

5. Roll half-circle, overlapping the edges a little, creating a cone shape.

6. Tape or glue outer edge of cone lengthwise.

7. Your cone is FINISHED!

TIPS: Adjust the size of cones by cutting the circle from steps 1 – 3 in two thirds, three quarters, or another size in step four. Punch holes in opening of cone and string ribbon through to hang on a tree, as decorations, or as place holders at a dinner party.
